Taking over the former Larchmont Grill bungalow is The Larchmont, which debuted last night. The restauarnt has a bright new look and farm-to-table menu that includes the familiar: butternut squash soup, beet salad with ricotta, yellowtail crudo with shaved fennel, lots of kale, chicken under a brick, duck confit and polenta gratin with mushroom ragout. According to Eater, consulting chef Don Gragg's resume includes Chez Panisse and Gramercy Tavern in NYC. Lunch and brunch will launch soon. More changes for this part of Larchmont, which recently got a Lemonade near Cafe Gratitude and the Aussie-run Coffee + Food on Melrose (5750 Melrose Ave.; 323-464-4277).
