As all of Europe goes bananas over the recent horsemeat recalls, add this news to the list - IKEA is now recalling almond cakes in 23 countries because they may contain fecal matter. After just recently recalling some of their meatballs because they might contain horsemeat, the furniture company announced today that coliform bacteria had been found in two batches of almond cake from a supplier in Sweden. While coliform does not cause serious illness, its presence may indicate contamination as well as harmful bacteria such as E. coli. [Telegraph]
