Huge Cans and Hot Eggs at Percy Street Barbecue

Craft can pioneer Oskar Blues has come out with something different, and it’s big. Literally big. Dale’s Pale Ale now comes in a grand 19.2-oz. version, and it’s available for a limited time at Percy Street Barbecue. To introduce the uberpounder, the South Street BBQ joint is offering them for just $6 each on Thursday, March 14, starting at 7 PM.

While you’re there, you might want to jump on chef-partner Erin O’Shea’s newest addition to the menu, which is like the best breakfast ever, but as a bar snack. A thick slice of smoked pork belly sits next to a toasted round of housemade potato bread, and on top of that is an egg yolk that's been salt cured for over four hours. It’s all drizzled with plenty of Pennsylvania maple syrup and runs $8. You’ll need the big beer just to wash it all down (215-625-8510).
