Haymakers Launches to Help Austin Food Entrepreneurs

Austin’s a strong city for entrepreneurs and for food lovers, and the new online business Haymakers hits both: it aims to help “food entrepreneurs build and run sustainable and financially successful businesses.” You may recognize one of the founders: Elizabeth Winslow co-founded the CSA-like Farmhouse Delivery from the ground up. As co-founder Adrienne Lowenstein says in the press release:
“At Haymakers, we combine the best takeaways from a traditional business school education with countless lessons learned on the job to offer the most relevant food-specific entrepreneurial resources out there. Food entrepreneurs are critical to our communities, we give them the ‘leg-up’ they need to do it right the first time.”
How? Through online workshops, short films, community-based events and a mentor network. Celebrate the launch on April 2 with ShopTalk at the CTC Garden, a “night of food, drink and cultural storytelling” with heavy hitters like Philip Speer and Paula Disbrowe.

Haymakers also plans to launch in the coming months in other cities like LA, San Francisco, New York and Portland, OR.

  1. I'm curious for your next post. Excellent post. Keep writing such kind of information on your blog. I'm amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that's both equally educative and interesting, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I stumbled across this in my hunt for something relating to this. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Wishing you best of luck..
