Elephants (pachyderms, not Republicans) will parade from Capitol Hill to Chinatown on Tuesday, March 19, at 8 PM, heralding the opening of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Verizon Center, that will be playing March 21-24. Revving up for the spectacle, Penn Quarter venues like Carmine’s, Cedar, Ping Pong Dim Sum, 701 and Zengo will be hosting special happy hours, and handing out circus gear like clown noses.
