Great GoogaMooga Festival Expanding to Chicago…Maybe

Face it; we really go to Lollapalooza for the food, curated for the past few years by Graham Elliot. Another food-forward music festival may be setting up camp in Chicago’s Montrose Beach this summer. According to RedEye, festival organizers are in contact with the Chicago Park District. They may be brining the food and music festival to Chicago as early as this summer, but neither the Park District of the festival organizers confirmed any affirmative plans. The Brooklyn Great GoogaMooga festival, which will take place in Prospect Park from May 17-19, brings together 175 beers and wines, musical guests Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Matt & Kim, as well as food vendors such as Colicchio & Sons and Momofuku Milk Bar.

  2. Leave it to the Chicago Park District to think outside the box again to attract new events, culture and talent to the city.....grant park, northerly island, soldier field, various other venues throughout the system--lollapalooza, riot festival, pitchfork, north coast. The execs at the park district really have their "acts" together.
