Give a Modern Spin to Italian Classics at Davio's' Cooking Class Saturday

Cooking classes at Davio's are hands-on.
Looking to modernize your nona’s meatball recipe or at least try something new with an Italian classic? This Saturday, March 30, co-executive chefs Eric Swartz and Stephen Brown of Davio’s Northern Italian steakhouse in Boston will show you how to turn Italian favorites into sumptuous contemporary dishes. You’ll get a hands-on how-to in preparing Kobe meatballs, and learn how to perfect a petite-portioned lasagna gratin.

The cooking class starts with a complimentary selection of biscotti and Fazenda coffee before heading into the kitchen. Chit-chat with the chefs and learn their secrets, taste the morsels and leave with a kit to recreate these appetizers at home (11 AM; $85 per person for the cooking class only; $165 per person for the cooking class and $100 voucher to dine at Davio’s; 617-357-4810; e-mail to make a reservation for the cooking class: cooking@davios.com. Please include your name, phone number and number of participants. Reservations will be confirmed via phone upon payment).
