Veritas alum chef Christopher Meenan and Brian Ghaw (Harlem's Savory Bakery) have teamed up to open Feast today on Third Avenue near 13th Street which is described as "a concept devoted to the act of feasting." What does that mean exactly? The idea is to make the dining experience feel like one big dinner party by offering two "feasts" daily - one is a Union Square Market-based tasting menu and the other will be a nose-to-tail selection with the selection of whole animals changing seasonally. The restaurant is geared toward groups obviously with the large-format offerings but there is also an a la carte menu of 12 different plates as well. For more info, click here.
