Stephen Starr’s two Philly Mexican restaurants are coming together in the name of tequila. Next Monday, March 25, El Rey in Rittenhouse will host Midtown Village’s El Vez for a four-course tequila pairing dinner, set to begin at 6 PM.

Authentic Mexican and modern Mexican will come together as chefs Dionicio Jimenez (El Rey) and David LaForce (El Vez) collaborate on dishes like branzino with acacia seed mole and chili-braised short ribs.
