It’s a trifecta of flavor at the latest installment of Amigos de Pintxo. Ryan Poli welcomes Bill Kim (BellyQ), Mindy Segal (Hot Chocolate) and Giuseppi Tentori (GT Fish & Oyster) to create Spanish-style bites with their own creative twist at Barcito. All-you-can-eat pintxos cost $25 with proceeds benefiting Pilot Light (312-274-1111).
It’s spring menu time, and while chefs across the city a changing up dishes Executive Chef Luca Corazzina wants diners’ help to deicide what goes on the menu at 312 Chicago. The battle of the dishes is a four course-meal with two dishes going head-to-head during each course. At the end of the meals diners will vote for favorites using their “fight card.” Tickets cost $60 per person with an optional wine pairing for $25 (312-696-2420).
It may not feel like spring, but it will taste like it during the spring preview party at Katherine Anne Confections. The confectionista will serve samples of her lemon poppy seed truffles, olive oil truffle, berry mélange caramel, lady grey marshmallow and more. The party starts at 5:30 PM and tickets cost $25 (773-245-1630).
Join bartenders from around Wicker Park and Bucktown as they compete to create the neighborhood’s signature cocktail. The mixologist mash-up starts at 6 PM at Dolphin. Tickets cost $40 in advance or $50 at the door and include cocktail samples and food.
