Cooking for a Cause Promises Fun, Food and Drinks at MIT Media Lab

Jody Adams will be Cooking for A Cause.
What do you get when you mix some of the city’s top chefs with hot-shot barkeeps in a funky space that feeds Boston’s creative minds? Cooking for A Cause, a kick-back gala fund-raiser of great food, creative cocktails and live music held on Friday, April 12 at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge.

Jody Adams (Rialto), Dante di Magistris (Dante, Il Casale), William Kovel (Catalyst), Tony Maws (Craigie on Main) and many more chefs are among those happy to dish out their delicious dishes for a cause. Josh Childs (Silvertone) and John Gertsen (Drink) are among the barkeeps who will be shakin’ it. In addition, there will be desserts, coffee, a silent auction and the swinging sounds of the Winiker Orchestra.

Now in its 10th year, Cooking for A Cause is a popular fund-raiser for East End House in Cambridge, which improves the lives of families, adults and children with after-school programs, childcare and a battery of social services that support the community (6-10 PM; $125 per person; click here for more information and tickets).
