Bouchon Brings Back Ad Hoc Monday Fried Chicken Night

Oh, Ad Hoc fried chicken. How we love you so. This is no April Fool's joke: Thomas Keller's famous buttermilk fried chicken - hands-down one of the best crispy golden birds around - returns to Bouchon this Monday (April 1) and the first Monday of every month thereafter. Why is this chicken so good? It's lemon brined, coated in a seasoned flour, and fried until absolutely perfect, served a few times a month at its namesake restaurant in Napa. Why is it worth it? It's Thomas Keller. And it's fried chicken. Come on. It's also a pain in the arse to make at home (we have), so it's a big deal to be able to pick it up in Beverly Hills.

You get chicken, baby gem lettuces salad, pomme Allemand and house-made parker rolls, all served family-style, for $36 per person. Can't make it in? You can order the whole shebang to go. Just make sure you stop at the bakery to grab a few TKO or Nutter Butter cookies for dessert. Fried chicken is available from 5:30-10:30 PM in the bistro (235 N. Canon Dr.; 310-271-9910).
