| Get your salted caramel fix sans lines at the new Bi-Rite on Divisadero |
Everyone’s favorite gourmet retailer and scoop shop,
Bi-Rite, has officially opened its NoPa offshoot, thus solidifying that neighborhood’s status as the so-called
“new Mission.” Located at 550 Divisadero (directly next door to
Nopa restaurant), the second outpost of
Eat Good Food author and self-professed “feeder” Sam Mogannam’s wildly popular family-run
18th St business is open daily 9 AM- 9 PM for all your shopping needs (be it fresh-picked produce from his family’s Sonoma farm, cut-to-order cheeses, gourmet deli fixings or responsibly sourced meats), but we’re betting the #1 reason folks will stop by is to circumvent the crazy long lines of its
sister creamery: the new Divisadero shop features an
ice cream counter up front that offers up the same creamy, coveted housemade organic ice creams, ice cream sandwiches and sundaes as the mothership (alas, no soft-serve), with its own dedicated check-out line.
