BlackFinn Ameripub may be a chain, but there’s nothing mass-produced about the hefty appetizer bursting with hunks of lump crab at this new spot at the Domain. We have a thing against deep-fried mayo bombs, and so we were happily surprised to find these very fresh versions. Don’t worry, it’s still fried, and it definitely comes with a side of traditional remoulade sauce. But we liked the cakes plain with the zesty pico de gallo piled on top. The serving is large enough to make a meal, especially before hitting up the stores at the Domain for a day of shopping.
