Another weekend trip to Philly led to plenty of dining midadventures including meals at
Zahav and
El Camino Real. While it's tough to single out one specific dish at either restaurant, our most likely favorite would be the seared tuna tacos we had at the latter, a Tex-Mex joint in Northern Liberties. The raucous eatery has a massive menu of both Mexican and Texan specialities, resulting in the somewhat fusion-y seared tuna tacos which were topped with an cilantro-lime aioli, carrots, onions and scallions. The bright and creamy aioli was a perfect addition to the savory tuna and paired well with the side of pickled cabbage that garnished the plate.
