Long-beloved Williamsburg favorite Sweetwater is one of those spots we were often told was "cute" for brunch (with its old-school bar ambience and garden in the back), but we had never had the occasion to try it until recently. We finally checked it out the other night and were sufficiently charmed by the homey feel inside the eatery as well as the well-executed comfort food menu. Our favorite dish we tried was the pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto and served alongside sweet potato mash and whole grain mustard kale. The pork was tender and flavorful and the mustard-y kale was a perfect contrast to the sweet flavors of both the meat and the sweet potato mash. Sweetwater is located at 105 N. 6th Street.
