Baby Bo's, which is located a bit off the beaten Third Avenue path on a nondescript block with six other restaurants. After surviving boot camp last night, its Harvest Moon burrito was calling our name (full disclosure: we got takeout.)
Rolled up in a large whole-wheat tortilla, the oversized burrito was filled with black beans, Monterey Jack cheese and grilled vegetables, (broccoli, squash, pea pods) that were crisp, fresh and flavorful, not mushy and anemic. The chunky pico de gallo on top gave the whole thing a perfect spicy kick, and it also came with rice (we substituted brown for red) and a tiny salad. It was a hearty, satisfying dinner that hit the spot without making us feel like we just undid all the good of those billion push-ups, jumping jacks and squats. At least until we polished off the free salsa and chips, that is.
