Bar News: Milk & Honey Expands Hours, Donovan's Trucks Along With New Owners

Bars all over town are washing away the green beer stains after St. Patrick's Day, and fans of old-school pubs should be happy to see Donovan's among them. The NY Times just filed a profile of this spot, which was in danger of closing after the landlord put the building on the market. Two bartenders ended up making the purchase and plan to keep the joint in business, and don't plan to change the way it's run ("It is safe to say that the place will not be turning into an artisanal cocktail joint any time soon.").

Speaking of artisanal cocktail joins, we hear that the new Madison Park location of Milk & Honey has expanded their hours. During the first few weeks of business they started pouring at 8 PM, an annoyance for happy hour warriors in the neighborhood. That's been moved up to 6 PM for those looking a cocktail straight from the office.
