Austin Eastciders has finally honed in on a location, at 979 Springdale Rd, near Airport. The “urban cidery” made its first batch of the apple juice with a kick last year, and right now you can find the cider at the Alamo Drafthouse, Hopfields and all of the other hippest places in town. Soon they’ll be able to bring craft cider to the entire East Side (and hopefully the whole city).
The quirky building is actually a vintage railroad station, and the surrounding area is pretty cool too. Eastciders plans to throw parties as well as serve barbecue at the new location.
