| Nobu in New York City |
A big bit of Manhattan is making its way to Chicago’s West Loop. Nobu Hospitality Group, co-founded by actor Robert De Niro, announced plans to construct their first Chicago property - a boutique hotel - on the 12,000-square feet of land at 846-854 W. Randolph St. This hotel will be constructed only one block west of the previously announced Soho House (113-125 N. Green St.), a hotel and private club also with roots in New York City. The hotel will also contain its namesake restaurant, Nobu, named after Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa. “That particular location is a location we want to be in. We think it's a much stronger area than anywhere else in Chicago. It's an up-and-coming area where the restaurants are doing extremely well. It's a young brand that we think would be right for that area,” Nobu CEO Trevor Horwell told Chicago Real Estate Daily.

One of the best hotels there. Thanks for posting
