5 Hoppin' Good Places to Celebrate Easter

Not going away for Easter? Don't worry, there are plenty of London restaurants offering specials to get you in the festive holiday mood.

Byron's lamb burger special is available at any branch of the burger chain until April 8. This juicy six-oz. lamb patty is squashed between a soft bun with feta, salted cucumber, tomato and cumin relish and mustard mayonnaise (£8.95).

Bocca di Lupo, Jacob Kenedy's Soho Italian, is offering a special Easter menu available until the end of the month. Expect dishes like Easter Bunny (chilled rabbit salad with broad beans, radishes, capers and a tuna and anchovy dressing), Bambi (fallow venison tartare) and March Hare (egg pasta with hare braised in red wine, juniper and cinnamon). Might be an idea to leave Disney-loving children at home.

The Easter egg-inspired menu (available from March 29-April 1) at Cinnamon Soho features a collection of spicy balls including crab and cod, lamb kofta curry and Bengali-spiced vegetable balls. Wash it down with an Easter Egg Flip cocktail made with cognac, Bailey's Tawny Port and egg white (£30).

A special menu at Daphne's in South Kensington, available from March 27 to April 2, is filled with festive springtime dishes like grilled asparagus with quail's eggs, spring chicken broth and roast lamb rump and Neapolitan Easter tart (£19.50).

Forget a traditional Sunday roast and opt for a boozy brunch at Le Caprice instead. It's not the most festive menu (Tuscan bean broth, champagne risotto, pan-fried duck egg), but to celebrate everyone who comes in on Saturday or Easter Sunday will get a complimentary Bloody Mary.
