Would You Pay £1000 for This Coq au Vin?

Coq'Argent in the City has added this £1000 chicken dish to the menu. Why is it so expensive? The French braised chicken dish is marinated for 24 hours in one of the finest French vintage wines, Le Chambertin Grand Cru, Trapet 2009. (They also suggest pairing the dish with the same wine if you really want to break the bank.)

But before you get offended, the restaurant has said they will donate all the profits from each dish ordered to a charity of the diners choice.
