From receipt snafus to Bocuse d'Or coups, check out this week's food world winners and losers below.

Winner: Team France - The famed Bocuse d'Or went down this week in Lyon, France in which international teams competed for culinary glory. In the end, Team France pulled out the big win, leaving the U.S.A. in the dust (aka 7th place). Womp womp.

Loser: Applebee's Receipt Pastor - After leaving the note "I give God 10%, why do you get 18" on an Applebee's receipt, pastor Alois Bell apologized for doing so after the incident resulted in the firing of the employee who had posted the receipt online.

Winner: Taco BellFrom the official confirmation of the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos, to their new Cantina Bell Steak Burrito to the premiere of their Super Bowl ad, Taco Bell was everywhere this week. But hey, is the mega chain really trying to change its image?

Loser: Top Cheftestants Supported by Don King - Even the support of legendary boxing promoter Don King couldn't bring Josie Smith-Malave back into the Top Chef fold after being eliminated on last week's episode. Better luck next time, J.

Winner: - Horsemeat DNA avoiders - UK and Ireland residents who successfully avoided the horsemeat DNA found in traces in a supply of ground beef are certainly better off than those that didn't. (Cough: Burger King.)
