Where to Eat in Chinatown Without Stepping into a Tony Hu Restaurant

There is a man on a mission in Chinatown. We are not talking about Tony Hu and his restaurant empire. We are talking about Serious Eats’ editor Nick Kindelsperger, and a recent quest to sought out the best dishes in Chinatown. The journey led him to lamb yakitori at Crazy Pot, fried silverfish at Go 4 Food and baked egg tart at Cai. In addition to racking up a list of 18 dishes, he learned a thing or two about the neighborhood including inconsistent quality run rampant, be wary of raw chicken and that there are people besides Tony Hu serving noteworthy cuisine in Chinatown. Check out the complete tale.
