Now that The Tippling Bros. (the guys behind the kegged cocktails at Tavernita and the bottled concoctions at Little Market) made Chicago their permanent home, they will launch the first of a monthly series called Tippling Tuesday. It includes five wine tastings and small bites at Double A, on Tuesday at 7 PM ($25; 312-329-9555).
Starting on Tuesday night at 6:30 PM, chef Bryan Moscatello invites friends in the food, wine and sprits industry for the "Discovery Series" at Storefront Company. This first one welcomes master sommeliers from Tenzing Wine & Spirits for a five-course dinner, with wine pairings of course ($90; 773-661-2609).
What is better than beer and food? Throw some video games into the mix at Headquarters' five-course dinner with Ommegang Brewing Company. Dishes include P.E.I. mussels with Hennepin and Three Philosophers paired with beer brittle (Tuesday, 7:30 PM; $40; 773-665-5660).
