The Goddess and The Grocer Opens Fourth Location Tomorrow

Local sandwich-maker and grocery, The Goddess and the Grocer, will opens its fourth location tomorrow in River North. “We had a great customer base with delivery and catering in the River North area and a space became available, so we signed the lease!” said owner Debbie Sharpe.

The new location will serve the signature fresh-made sandwiches and wraps as well as artisan products such as cheese, chocolate and jams. It will also sell premade appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and side dishes. In addition to food, a thoughtful selection of wine and craft beer is sold by the bottle.


The new space seats 36 at communal as well as bar stools.White walls are decorated with wood cutting boards. Exposed pipes and concrete columns as well as subway tile backsplash maintain an urban feel. This summer, it will welcome guests to dine outside at a sidewalk cafe.
