Stock and Trade to Toss Bocce Balls and Pub Grub in the Marina Next Week
Stock and Trade, the new American tavern taking over the former La Barca space in the Marina, is readying to throw open its doors with a cocktail party next Monday night and a full dinner service beginning Tuesday, February 12. Tagged as one of the highly anticipated restaurant openings of 2013, Stock and Trade will feature America-style small plates and entrées overseen by chef Jake Kwan-Rosenbush (formerly of Naked Lunch, 15 Romolo and Gary Danko) which can be enjoyed in the dark wooded dining room (redesigned by Gi Paoletti who worked on Maven, The Tipsy Pig and others) and at the U-shaped bar that will stock (and trade) a dozen beers of tap, straight-forward cocktails and plenty of wine. But the highlight may just very well be the indoor bocce court (shown above), which along with a plethora of flat-screen TVS to catch the game, will likely cement its status as the new Marina party spot. The restaurant will being accepting reservations through the website starting Friday morning.
