Shanti II Opening in Roslindale Tomorrow

A second Shanti is slated to open tomorrow at 4197 Washington Street in Roslindale Village. The original Shanti, an Indian “hidden gem” that’s garnered a 28 rating for Food in the Zagat guide, opened in Dorchester 12 years ago.

Owner Solmon Chowdhury told Eater the second Shanti will be a “twin sister location” to the original; the menu includes tandoori, biryani, vindaloo, shaag and patia.

Chowdhury owns Moksa in Central Square and recently shuttered Om in Harvard Square.
