Catch La Cocina rising street food vendor and popular OTG participant Azalina Eusope (of Azalina's) at Wise Sons Delicatessen this Sunday and the following three Sundays (until March 10) where she will be dishing up her classic Malaysian street food. This Sunday’s dinner will be a tribute to Matt Skov, La Cocina’s culinary director who recently lost his battle with cancer. The menu will include funky lemongrass soup with hand-pulled noodles, Malaysian roasted chicken, winter vegetable salad with tamarind dressing, purple sticky rice with shrimp filling and sweet yam with coconut kaya (the latter of which was recently featured in Saveur magazine). Seating is first-come, first-serve and the menu items will be offered a la carte (Sundays, 6- 10 PM).
