Ruxbin Team Announces New Project

The best kept non-secret in Chicago, BYOB Ruxbin, let some news slip toady that they are working on another project. Their second restaurant will be simpler and more casual than the American bistro, decorated with pages from cookbooks and serving everything from deconstructed fruitcake during the holidays to maple-soy glazed black cod. Categorizing their first restaurant as anything other than delicious would not be doing it justice. The second concept hopes to be as unique as the original.

“It’s something that you roll up your sleeves for,” Vicki Kim, a Ruxbin partner, told Chicago Magazine. “Guttural food. You just kind of get in there.”

The new restaurant will be located at 1401 North Ashland Avenue and is aiming for a fall opening.
