Pizza Bar is the creative name Brian Nagele has given to his new Northern Liberties joint. It’s actually inside Kings Oak at the Piazza, an enclave with a separate bar serving craft brews and brick oven pies. Open now, according to reports [The Insider].
Adam Ritter, who owns the Sidecar Bar & Grille and Kraftwork, is bringing Kermit’s Bake Shop to 22nd and Washington. Kermit is Ritter’s cat, in case you’re wondering, in turn named after jazz great Kermit Ruffins. Opening in a couple of months, if all goes well [Foobooz].
