If you follow Bizarre Foods Andrew Zimmern on the Twitters, you'll know that he's currently traipsing around Los Angeles, from Boyle Heights to Long Beach. He was slurping up Cambodian food in Little Phnom Penh down in the LBC, where he had things like pork bone soup, noodles with offal and shrimp, and congee. And he made his way to Tamales Elena in Watts, seen here eyeing the menu. While Elena's pork tamales are indeed fantastic, they don't register as too weird to us.
