| Off the Grid is coming to the Belmont Caltrain station on Mondays |
Good news for Caltrain riders. Beginning tonight,
Off the Grid is flying south to Belmont where it is launching a new permanent year-round night market. The food truck powwow will take place every Monday night from 5-9 PM in the Caltrain parking lot (El Camino Real and Ralston Ave) and feature the usual OTG scene: a rotating line-up of eight rotating food trucks, hawking all the spicy, savory and sweet provisions necessary to cobble together a festive, alfresco dinner. Featured trucks for tonight’s maiden event will be
Del Popolo,
The Chairman,
Hiyaaa Roll,
Sanguchon SF,
Sam's Chowder,
El Sur,
Hapa SF and
Kara's Cupcakes. The new Belmont market brings the tally of weekly markets that Off the Grid runs to a whopping 16.
