The James Beard House will showcase the cuisine of Kentucky when the team from St. Charles Exchange is in the house to prepare a menu of Southern-inflected fare. Clinton Hill residents should stop by neighborhood joint Hill Cafe to enjoy the new mussels night promotion, which starts tonight and will take place every Thursday. A plate of bivalves paired with a pint of beer from the drafts is only $15, all night long.

This Saturday it's Swine time at the second annual aPORKalypse, a pig tasting and craft beer festival. The shindig takes place at Alewife in Queens and each $40 ticket scores you access to 10 craft beers and two plates that you can pig out on.
