Chance are you'll be staying in to recover this evening, and good - because we'll be coming to you LIVE from LA. Our 30 Under 30 party launches at 7 PM PST and we'll be live blogging from the event and hosting a 30 minute live-streaming Google+ hangout. You can tune in right here on the Zagat blog!

Tonight, Resto will host a beer pairing dinner with brews from Shmaltz, Captain Lawrence and Empire Brewing Company. The makers will be in the house to discuss their labels, and the four courses of meaty fare will include dishes like a terrine of pork and chicken liver (7 PM; $85 per person; call 212-685-5585 for reservations).

Wednesday, February 27

The James Beard House will showcase the cuisine of Kentucky when the team from St. Charles Exchange is in the house to prepare a menu of Southern-inflected fare. Tickets are $170 and since the eatery is located in a former Bourbon distillery, you can rest assured that some brown drink will be served to start off you night. Get info here.

Thursday, February 28

Clinton Hill residents should stop by neighborhood joint Hill Cafe to enjoy the new mussels night promotion, which starts tonight and will take place every Thursday. A plate of bivalves paired with a pint of beer from the drafts is only $15, all night long.

Saturday, March 2

This Saturday it's Swine time at the second annual aPORKalypse, a pig tasting and craft beer festival. The shindig takes place at Alewife in Queens and each $40 ticket scores you access to 10 craft beers and two plates that you can pig out on. The evening tasting is sold out, but there are still tickets available to the afternoon tasting if you want to hit it up for some daytime drinking. Info here.

Sunday, March 3

If you haven't had the chance to check out the new Willow Road gastropub in the former John Dory space, drop by this weekend to sample the just-launched brunch. Hit up dishes like cast-iron-baked eggs with chorizo, charred scallion and Parmesean cream along with some sweet brunch-time beverages.
