Pie Face is making it's debut near Penn Station, and to promote the opening they're letting customers spin a wheel that may land them discounts and free goodies (469 Seventh Ave.).
Wednesday, February 20
Get through hump day with a great deal on barbecue and a beer.
Fletcher's in Brooklyn just launched an awesome special that's quite the bargain. A quarter-rack of ribs, chips and a beer is just $12 (you can sub in a chopped pork or brisket sandwich if you aren't up for gnawing). The deal is available every day except Tuesday from 11:30 to 2:30 PM.

Be one of the first to try chef Rob Newton's Vietnamese fare at
Nightingale 9, which opens tonight in Carroll Gardens. The new venture is an exciting change for the chef, who impressed the neighborhood with his take on Southern cuisine at his nearby
Seersucker. This spot will make it's debut at 345 Smith St. (347-689-4699).
Friday, February 22
Today is national Margarita day and a Friday, which means you'll have to have more than one.
L'Amant in the West Village is offering a literary take on the classic cocktail with its Margarita Duras, named after the author of the novel from which the eatery gets its name. The mix is tequila, cointreau, lime, cucumber, cilantro and some dried Thai chili peppers for a a bit of spice.
Saturday, February 23
Terroir Park Slope is hosting a series of winter wine classes on Saturdays, and today's session will delve into Chardonnay. In classic Terroir style expect there to be plenty of quirky humor - the class starts at 4 PM, lasts one hour and is $20. Email awhittinghill@wineisterroir.com for reservations.
Sunday, February 24
It's Oscar night and you can watch all of the red carpet action at
Humphrey in the Eventi Hotel, which will project the Awards show on their giant screen. The party starts at 6 PM, drink specials will include $3 beers and $6 themed cocktails, and you can win a free bottle of Champagne by scoring top marks in the venue's Oscar pool.
