New Head Chef at The Gun

Canary Wharf's cosy gastropub, The Gun, has a new head chef. Owners Tom and Ed Martin have appointed South African Quinton Bennett (The Westbury, The Arch, Haymarket Hotel) to takeover the kitchen.

Bennett who was a finalist in the running for the Roux Scholarship 2011 & 2012 said of his new role at the Modern European restaurant, ""I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with a company that is driven by quality ingredients and products. It is a pleasure to be working with Tom and Ed Martin's team and in such an historic venue."
