Massive Steakhouse Desmond's Set to Launch Bar Tomorrow

The bad news = you have to wait a little longer for this...

Desmond's Steakhouse and Grill is a giant new meatery that's slated to open soon in Midtown, and we hear that the joint is slated to debut one piece at a time. Tomorrow the space will start serving cocktails - while there's no timeline on when the over 200 seats will open in the 8,000 square foot dining room, the 70 foot bar will start serving beverages sans food in the evening.

The mixology program here is from Tom Richter, who is well respected in NYC mixology circles for his work as head bartender at The Beagle in Alphabet City. You can expect drinks like the Alaska, a mix of gin and Yellow Chartreuse and the Mamie Taylor, a blend of Scotch and ginger beer.
