Manzanilla, a Spanish Brasserie From Boqueria Owner, Opens Tomorrow

Boqueria's owner Yann de Rochefort is no stranger to Spanish cuisine, but for his latest venture he's giving the tapas a rest in favor of three-course meals. He's brought over chef Dani Garcia of Spain's Calima to produce a more casual version of that joint's tasting menus. There will be a large selection of grilled meats (and of course some things will be shareable), and the cuisine will take inspiration from the Andalusian region in the South of Spain. In addition to the Spanish fare, there will be a beverage program that focuses on sherry, with plenty of pours available by the glass.

The two-story space is meant to invoke a Spanish brasserie - there's high 13 foot ceilings and cool herring-bone patterned tiles on the floor (winos will also enjoy the 40-seat private dining room in the cellar. The joint is scheduled to open tomorrow - check it out at 345 Park Avenue South (212-255-4086) and scope the menu below the jump.
