Xochitl has introduced Molcajete Bowls, grand-size dishes of volcanic rock filled with every kind of filling you’d ever want in a taco, served with unlimited tortillas on the side.
Molcajetes were found in traditional Aztec kitchens, and the seasoned stone is great for retaining heat. That means you’ll have ample time to sip on margaritas (try the Rosa, made with limited edition Grand Marnier cherry) as you make your way through the assorted meats and veggies.
For $28, the bowl comes with either red or green salsa and all of the following: carnitas, braised short rib, chorizo, marinated chicken, cotija cheese, grilled cactus (nopales) and charred spring onions (cebolitas). Basically, it’s a Mexican feast all in one, and if you happen to start your meal with guacamole and chips, it will probably feed you for breakfast, too.
