Hot Diggity’s LuckyAnt crowdfunding campaign reached its first milestone, having raised $7,000 in 30 days. That’s good news for proprietor Keith Garabedian and crew, and good news for hot dog lovers in Philadelphia, because it means we’ll soon have a frankfurter-centric truck roaming our streets. (It will be a pretty one, too, since sandwich artist Hawk Krall is creating a custom wrap for the outside.)
There’s still time to help out - funds for equipment and the mural wrap are still needed - so head over and toss in $5, or $25, or even $100. You won’t have to wait to enjoy the fruits of your donation, since your gift earns you a certificate you can redeem at the South Street brick-and-mortar shop for a hot dog right now.
