Guy Fieri in Town to Film Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Philadelphia is getting the Flavortown treatment. Over the weekend, Foobooz noticed a few restaurants oddly closed for service during the day, and then got a tip that the reason was none other than Guy Fieri. The white-haired food genie hits our city today to continue filming an episode of Diners, Drive-in and Dives.

So far, we know the show will cover Standard Tap, Sidecar Bar & Grille and the South Philadelphia Tap Room (where chef Scott Schroeder begrudgingly agreed to a shot of him riding his motorcycle). Which begs the question, are any of these diners, drive-ins or dives? Not in our book, but that doesn’t mean the show won’t be fun to watch.

Since Fieri is slated to be around town today, keep your eyes peeled for sunglasses on the back of someone’s head - yes, it’s raining, but that never seemed to stop him before. Let us know if you catch a glimpse.
