The selling saga continues for Charlie Trotter six months after closing his namesake restaurant. A first attempt to unload the world-renowned restaurant’s assets ended in chaos when Trotter threw Mark Caro of the Chicago Tribune out of the live auction and berated bidders for not appreciating the value of the frames that held some of the restaurant’s art, according to Grubstreet. Take two will happen online, beginning tonight at 6:30 PM and continuing though February 24 at 5 PM. Items for sale include aforementioned art as well as china, glasses, cookware and furniture.
