Today, Japanese chain Go Go Curry announced that it will open its third Manhattan location at the end of February. Located near the World Trade Center, the outpost will served the same Katsu curry that made the other two spots popular. Fans of the establishment will know that the owners are crazily obsessed with Hideki Matsui, who hails from the prefecture in Japan that produced the curry recipe. His jersey number is 55, and on the first day of service (February 25) the eatery (aka "Stadium" as the owners prefer it to be called) will give away 555 portions of their signature dish for $.55. Sucks to be the 556th person in that line. The doors open at 10:55 AM at 12 John Street. Get more info here.
