G4 Rebranded as Esquire Network; Bourdain and Ilan Hall Both Get Shows

Well, it's happening. G4 Network is officially rebranding itself as the Esquire Network, a partnership between Hearst Magazines and NBCUniversal that will be aimed at servicing "the full, multi-faceted lives of men." Oh joy. According to a press release, Anthony Bourdain will be getting his own Zero Point Zero-produced show on the network entitled The Getaway (working title) which has the TV star palling around with famous people in various cities. Also, Top Chef alum Ilan Hall will also have his own show called Knife Fight, which is described as "an underground, after-hours cooking competition where talented chefs go head to head in front of a rowdy crowd of celebrities, critics and die-hard foodies." The network will launch in April.
