Nobu, is opening his own restaurant, Harlow, February 20th in the Lombardy Hotel.
Named after his baby daughter, the blue and gray restaurant is divided into a parlor and main dining room, and will feature an oyster bar, chandeliers and stained glass windows that date back to the 1930s when William Randolph Hearst had the space constructed. The café and bar area will display contemporary art installations including a Warhol.
Danny Ye will act as consulting chef for the global menu, which will emphasize seafood. Expect dishes like a savory pie with clams, mussels and lobster and pan-roasted salmon with choirzo and Asian pear salad. Those of you with a sweet tooth should look forward to the Harlow's Ice Cream Sundae, which comes with an array of do it yourself toppings. Take a look at a working draft of the menu below the jump and stay tuned for the opening at 111 East 56th Street.
