Philly Beer Week crew is currently on their annual trip to Belgium to brew a special beer for the June festival, the second such collaboration in the event’s history. This year, raffle winner Matt Hohorst picked Weyerbacher brewer Chris Wilson to accompany the team, and Wilson will work with De La Senne Brewery to create the beer.
Of course, if you’re in Belgium, you can’t just pop in and out without visiting as many storied taverns as you can, which the group is certainly doing. Judging from the photo above, snapped by William Reed of Standard Tap, the beer selection there is impressive enough to make even PBW co-chairman Tom Peters of Monk’s Cafe raise his glass. Color us jealous.
