Monday, February 11

Stop by Talde in Park Slope tonight to feast on special items for Chinese New Year. The eatery will serve Yu Sheng of Hiramasa and will hand out special red envelopes that contain gift cards to Talde, Thistle Hill Tavern and Pork Slope.

Tuesday, February 12

Celebrate Mardi Gras at Beaumarchais, which will host the Avalon Jazz Band from 7 to 10 PM. The joint will be serving its winter menu - BYOB (bring your own beads).

Wednesday, February 13

Kiss your way to a free lunch at the Carlton Hotel's Millesime, which is offering a promotion all week dubbed Food is Love. If you bring someone in for a mid-day meal and kiss them in front of a server, you can get two-for-one lunch. Pretty sweet deal (and don't be afraid of excessive PDAs - a kiss on the hand or the cheek will do just fine>

Thursday, February 14

Friday, February 15

Stop by the Beurre & Sel pop-up shop to keep the spirit of V-day alive with some tasty cookies. Dorie Greenspan will be on site to sell treats like smoked-almond heart-shaped cookies. The shop will operate all week from 10 AM to 5 PM and is inside the Mizu Salon at 505 Park Avenue.

Sunday, February 17

Today Michael Jordan's The Steakhouse is celebrating the 50th birthday of the basketball star with a special five course dinner with wine pairings from Terlato. Five courses are $125 and guests will all be treated to a pieice of the resto's Fat Boy chocolate cake (646-453-5798).
