C-CAP Benefit to Honor SD26's Tony May on March 4

This year's Careers Through Culinary Arts Benefit will honor SD26 owner Tony May for his "remarkable achievements and contributions to the culinary industry and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of chefs," C-CAP founder and chairman Richard Grausman in a statement.

The legendary restaurateur will be fĂȘted with an epic-sounding feast from 6:30 to 9:00 PM on March 4 at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. More than 40 chefs will be participating and cooking up dishes, including Marcus Samuelsson (who also served as the event's chef chair), Tom Colicchio, Bill Telepan, Masaharu Morimoto and Wylie Dufresne, and proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit organization's mission of providing opportunities in the culinary industry for disadvantaged youth.

General admission tickets cost $550 and VIP tickets are available for $700 or $1,000. For more information about the event (including a full list of participating chefs), check out www.ccapinc.org.
