After a few stops and starts, it's time. Sean Muldoon's old-school cocktail lounge The Dead Rabbit is opening in the Financial District tonight. And by old-school, we mean really old school. Many of the over 70 libations are based on recipes from the 17 and 1800's. The party starts at 5 PM - slings, toddies and juleps will be coming out of the venue's two bars. We know where we're going this evening - they're saying it's the soft opening, with the official debut slated for Wednesday of next week. We think today is ideal though - if we're gonna get snowed in, that sounds like the perfect place to do so (30 Water Street; 646-422-7906).
