Beer Ice Cream Flights at Humphry Slocombe

If you’re having a hard time drinking up beer intake this week, Humphry Slocombe has a solution: lick it instead. The quirky SoMa scoop shop is running daily-changing beer-ice cream flights throughout the rest of the weekend. You still have until Sunday night at 9 PM to decipher the differences and then devour the four featured beer-flavored frozen treats, which are available both individually ($3.50) or as a flight of four (for the bargain price of just three, $5.50).

Today’s featured flavors are: Almanac Beer Co. Porter (brewed with roasted cocoa nibs and vanilla), Black Robusto (made with Drake's Brewing Robust Porter), Double Daddy Sherbet (featuring Speakeasy's Imperial IPA) and Broadsword (made with Thirsty Bear Brewery's Wee Heavy Scotch Ale and Lapsang tea). Call the shop for tomorrow and Sunday's line-up. Best of all, it's one SF Beer Week-related event where you don’t need a designate driver to indulge (2790 Harrison St; 415-550-6971).
